Will: 8 Months

Mr. William Bradley is 8 months old!

He has gotten SO good at pulling up in his play pen! He can "walk" down the sides, and he likes to let go and stand for a few seconds before he falls down!

"Dada" is his favorite word... that, and "hey." He says lots of other things too, but I really can't understand those words.. lol!

We've been working on "mama," but we haven't made much progress ;)

Being lazy with his favorite person :)

Cutest kid ever? I think yes!

Look at me, mom!

Sandestin 2014

BEACH TRIP!!

I adore the beach, and I'm always excited to take a trip to Destin! This was a family beach trip for sure - my momma, daddy, brother, uncle Joey, Kelsey, Kassidy, Owen, uncle Shon, aunt Debbie, ShonPaul, and Lexi were all on this vacay with Joseph, Will, and I. We had blast to say the least! The week flew by, and before we knew it, we were all sunburned and it was time to go back home :(

We spent most of our time on the beach, at the pool, or in the house just spending good quality time with our family! Of course, everyone was happy to be on vacation with Will, and he was happy to be getting all of the attention! ;)

I didn't get too many pictures, but here are some of the highlights

We made a tattoo run! ;) I am in LOVE with this tattoo! I originally wanted it on my wrist, but I couldn't do it any smaller without taking away from the feather.. so I put it on my foot instead! The feather has a very important meaning to me.. you see, I'm a worrier. I get very anxious, and I have the tendency to think the worst.. This feather is a reminder that God is taking care of me and that He is in control! If you'll head on over to your Bible and read Matthew 6:26-27 and Psalms 91:4, you'll understand why :)

I even got MOM to get a tattoo!

She got a pretty cross! Love it!

Talk About Falling Off the Bandwagon...

Ok, I haven't been the best blogger... you could even say I've been the worst blogger (but that would have to involve me actually blogging :-/ )...

A lot has happened in the Byars' household since my last post waaaay back in January.

First off, Will has grown like a weed! He is 7 months old and is doing all of the things a seven month old does...
  • rolls every which way
  • sits up without any help
  • crawls everywhere
  • puts EVERYTHING in his mouth
  • eats baby food like a champ :)
  • is a talker (and a screamer/squealer... ear plugs may be needed soon)
  • loves his "dada" and gets so excited when he gets home from work (it really is precious!)
  • pulls himself up
  • loves to stand up
  • loves to bounce!!
  • watches Disney Junior - his favorites are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sheriff Callie's Wild West, and the little "commercials" with the puppies from 101 Dalmatians
  • he has a blue blanket that his mawmaw gave him and he cannot sleep without it :)
  • sleeps through the night (9p.m. - 8a.m.) which he has been doing since he was about 6 weeks old!!
  • and he is the sweetest little boy I've ever met!
I know I've left out a thousand things, but I promise I'm going to do better about blogging and I'll stay as up to date as I possibly can! :)

Here are just a few pictures of our sweet boy over the last 6 months...

Snow Day

Will and I were busy playing inside on Tuesday morning January 28th, and we didn't even notice it was snowing until around 10:30! We couldn't wait for daddy to get home and play in the snow with us!

Will had to try on his bear hat that Samantha and uncle Justin got for him before we went out in the snow :)

Play Date with Natalie Rae

How lucky am I to have a best friend to share this fabulous journey of mommyhood with?! Anna had Natalie Rae Morrison on December 4th - just 5 days before Will was born. I am so excited that Will and Natalie are so close in age and that they will be able to play and grow up together. Ever since I found out that we were having a boy and Anna and Daniel were having a girl I have joked and said that Natalie would be Will's girlfriend! ;) Now, I'm just playing around, and by no means do I expect them to date, but if they happen to make that decision when they get older... well, let's just say I wouldn't mind! ;)

Natalie and Will finally got to meet for the first time on Wednesday, January 22. Anna and Natalie came over for a play date. Our sweet babies spent most of their date eating and napping, but us mommies got to do a lot of catching up!

We caught these two holding hands but they moved before we could get a picture!

Will and I enjoyed having our favorite girls over and we can't wait for our next play date!!

Go Dawgs and Roll Tide!

I'm a Georgia fan.

Joseph is an Alabama fan.

We are a house divided.

Sadly, Will is not old enough to tell his daddy that he is a Georgia fan like his momma, so we have to play nice and root for both teams ;)
*for the record, I am also an Alabama fan as long as they aren't playing Georgia, but I think it's
fun to pick at Joseph because he's a diehard Alabama fan ;)

Lucky for Joseph I forgot to take a picture of Will in his Georgia outfit, but I did get him in his Alabama jersey.
